As we promised , we have added the following features for data imports.
Change in Excel format: The new Excel format do not require the type of transaction. If the transaction amount is prefixed with “–” sign , it will be automatically considered as expense.
Import of QIF and QFX file formats: The data page of BudgetPulse now supports QIF and QFX imports. QIF and QFX file formats are generated by Quicken and some financial institutions. If your financial institution provides these exports, you can export the data in .QIF or .QFX file and can import them into BudgetPulse. Its totally safe , here have no worries about your personal info, because the import wizard only imports your transactions and no other personal banking info such as password or login.
Import of OFX file formats: The data page of BudgetPulse now supports OFX imports. OFX file formats are generated by most financial institutions and financial softwares such as MS Money. If your financial institution provides OFX export, you can export the data in .OFX file and can import them into BudgetPulse. Its totally safe, here have no worries about your personal info, because the import wizard only imports your transactions and no other personal banking info such as password or login.
Please let us know if you have any issues.

If at all users need to convrt their CSV and QIF files to OFX, I suggest iCreateOFX Basic at http://icreateofx.co.uk/basic.php
I have downloaded a .qif from my bank, but cannot upload it from the browse menu. It is gray’d out in the selection box. Please advise on how I may import this data en mass. Also, I’m using a mac for the import if that matters…thank you, the site is great other than this.
