Last Thursday on October 2nd, iSquare Inc, owner of BudgetPulse was at the TECH Cocktail DC 3 representing its other site Introin.com. It was a fun evening and great happy hour networking event held at MCCXXlll in Washington DC. Put together by Frank Gruber, this event consisted of like minded people in the web entrepreneur world coming together to check out the local web startup scene. It allowed for everyone to come together, network, and more importantly, kick back and have some fun.
There were a lot of excellent startups that were demoing their web applications. Among them were contribune.org and mingle360. I had the pleasure of speaking with Josh from BrandClik and Sohit from Diditz about the state of startups in the DC area and about finding more ways for DC startups to better work together.
It was a great event and we look forward to the next one.

This is exactly what web startups should be doing! There are huge opportunities that come from just meeting the other founders of startups.
I’m good friends with Eric Olson the other founder of TECH Cocktail and Frank and Eric are doing a wonderful thing!
Awesome to hear that their event is helping so many!
I agree Ryan, being at the same event with others involved with the industry to network and connect on a personal level is the best thing for start-ups.
I had the opportunity to speak with Frank about the event and how it helps start-up companies, unfortunately I did not get the chance to meet Eric.
