A lot happening in the world of personal finances this past week and big news about the Cash for Clunkers program and debate over its success or lack of.  Good summer tips being talked and ways multiple people have handled different financial situations.  Here is a list of some great articles I have read this past week.

    Great list! Thanks for the mention. There’s one article here that caught my eye — I think that summer cottage rentals are a good bargain in many places. We use them all the time when we vacation. Much better than hotels that we used to visit in the past. Having a family has changed how we do vacations. :)

    @The Digerati Life Thanks for stopping by. You had an excellent post, very helpful to readers. I agree summer rentals can be worth it, but maybe not for college students. In my experience many make plans with lots of people in advance and always regret the length of time they had them. For families, you are probably right though, they would be great.
