The popular social networking tool Twitter is a great channel to interact with other people from around the world to network, learn about new information and articles, and well….to just have fun.  Being part of the personal finance blogger community I have come to interact daily with many excellent bloggers who I have learned a lot from over the past year and a half and who have helped me on my journey to a better financial future.

I want everyone to utilize Twitter to share their financial tips and to offer their two cents.

This Wednesday Dec 9th at 7 PM EST I will be starting the new Personal Finance Twitter Chat that will become a weekly staple for the personal finance community, BudgetPulse users, and anyone who would like to chime in, share their thoughts, and have fun.

This week Wisebread will be co-hosting the Twitter chat with myself and the topic for the Twitter chat this week is Holiday Savings.  We will just act as moderators to the discussions and pose a new question to the audience every 5 minutes or so.

The idea is once we pose a question, everyone who is joining in will then begin discussing with each other, giving their two cents, asking one another questions back and forth all in one central Twitter chat location.

Using the hashtag #bp, you will be able to follow the entire conversation as it is going on in one spot.

Feel free to contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions or you can directly contact me on Twitter.  I look forward to seeing everyone there and making this a fun weekly session.
